Zvents was founded in 2005 by Ethan Stock and Tyler Kovacs. Its headquarters are located in San Mateo, California. It was first created to find events in the Bay Area, but has extended its services to most cities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland. In 2011, Zvents was bought out by Stubhub. This was a mutually beneficial partnership because Zvents increased Stubhub’s own event listings by a great deal. Although Zvents is not its own company any longer, as people continue to browse events on their mobile devices and computers the new company’s long term outlook is very good.
