Zinstall WinWin is a PC migration software, which allows to transfer applications, settings and files from one computer to another. It is used by consumers and businesses to keep user environment and data intact when moving to a new computer or doing a PC refresh.

A more advanced version of the product (Zinstall Rescue Kit), allows to rescue user's applications, setting and data directly off the old computer's hard drive, in situations when the old computer cannot be turned on or loaded successfully.

Operation

WinWin transfers the user workspace from one computer to another. The transfer is done over some form of network connection - router, network, direct cable or a wireless connection. In order to initial the transfer, the user should run the software on old and new computers, which then auto-locate each other on the network. The transfer is then initiated on the new computer.

During the transfer, the old computer is not changed and nothing is removed from it.

WinWin minimizes the interaction with the user, and in a standard run, user does not have to make any choices or answer any questions. This is helpful for users with limited experience in PC maintenance. More advanced users can customize the transfer via the "Advanced" menu of the product.

WinWin supports Windows XP and higher, both on source and on target of the transfer. It transfers from 32-bit to 64-bit systems as well. Mac users have reported being able to transfer to Windows running on Mac hardware.
