Zhixian (traditional Chinese: 知縣; simplified Chinese: 知县; pinyin: zhīxiàn). English translation County Magistrate, is an archaic title referring to an official position in ancient China which was used in the Song, Ming and Qing dynasties.

If someone was appointed as a Zhixian by the emperor, he would take charge of a county and deal with all of the county's affairs.
