Zavetinsky District (Russian: Заве́тинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,000 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zavetnoye. Population: 17,250 (2010 Census); 18,508 (2002 Census); 18,638 (1989 Census). The population of Zavetnoye accounts for 41.0% of the district's total population.
