Zamounde S. Allie, Jr. is an American poet from Detroit, Michigan.
Biography
He is the author of three books, As the World Burns (1995) ISBN 0533110467, The First Time I: Performance Poetry and More (2004) ISBN 0595313248, We Shall Not Forget-A Family Saga (2014) ISBN 0692247084 and also has works featured in the anthology Journey to TimBookTu: An African-American Poetic Odyssey (2002) ISBN 0971814805. He co-produced and read poetry on the Sankofa Perspectives radio show from 1997 to 2001 on KABF in Little Rock, Arkansas. His lectures include the Brown Bag Seminars at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois.
