The airplane had departed Khartoum International Airport (KRT) at 13:27 and landed at Zalingei at 16:18. The flight had originated in Khartoum and flew to Zalingei via Nyala Airport at Nyala. According to the airline, two tyres of the aircraft burst on landing and it subsequently split in two and burst into flames.
