Yongchengbei Railway Station, or Yongcheng North Station, is station of Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Passenger Dedicated Line that is located in Mangshan Town of Yongcheng, Henan Province. The station, equipped with 2 platforms and 4 lines, occupies a total of 5,000 km2. Yongchengbei Railway Station is 35 km from Yongcheng downtown, and 3.5 km from Mangdang Mountain Scenic Spot.

History

  1. From May 24 to 26, there was a thematic meeting on deliberating the feasibility report of Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Highspeed Railways in Beijing, and the meeting came to some conclusions, including: to build "Yongchengbei Station" in Yongcheng (Henan Province) and Dangshannan Station (Anhui Province). This meeting settled the long dispute of whether building one station in Yongcheng or in Dangshan;
  2. On October 29, 2012, the then Ministry of Railways of PRC released the information of tendering for Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Passenger Dedicated Line;
  3. On December 26, 2016, construction of Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Passenger Dedicated Line formally commenced;
  4. On March 4, 2013, construction of this line in Yongcheng began;
  5. On May 25, 2016, Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Passenger Dedicated Line went into trial operation;
  6. On September 10, 2016, Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Passenger Dedicated Line went into operation and Yongchengbei Railway Station saw the first group of passengers.
