The yellow-green bush tanager (Chlorospingus flavovirens) is a species of bird traditionally placed in the family Thraupidae, subsequently moved (with the rest of Chlorospingus) to Arremonops in the Emberizidae. Recent molecular analysis has discovered that this species may in fact be closer to Bangsia in Thraupidae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
