Xi Pavonis (ΞΎ Pav) is a class K4III (orange giant) star in the constellation Pavo. Its apparent magnitude is 4.35 and it is approximately 470 light years away based on parallax. Xi Pavonis has a distant companion, B, with apparent magnitude 8.6 and about 3.3" separation; in addition, the primary is a spectroscopic binary with a 6.06 year period.
