XHRR-FM (branded as La Ley 102.5/92.7) is a Spanish-language regional Mexican FM radio station that serves the McAllen, Texas (USA) / Reynosa, Tamaulipas (Mexico) border area. While XHRR is licensed to Reynosa, it broadcasts from studios in South Padre Island , and airs advertisements and programming aimed at a U.S. audience.

In order to cover the entire Rio Grande Valley, XHRR simulcasts on KESO 92.7 in the lower Valley (South Padre Island).

History

XHRR received its concession on July 10, 1980. It was owned by Romeo Flores Salinas. It had previously been affiliated to MVS Radio, carrying its FM Globo format until and Exa FM from 2000 to 2005.
