XEMIA-AM is a radio station on 850 AM (a United States clear-channel frequency) in San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. It is owned by Grupo ACIR and is known as 850 AM with a news/talk format.

History

XEMIA received its concession on July 16, 1963. The Chapala-based station, originally assigned the XEWI calls that were never used, was owned by Luis Garcia Talavera and broadcast as a daytimer with 1,000 watts. Several years later, it was sold to Radio Promotora de Jalisco, and by the 1980s it was a Grupo ACIR station known as "Radio Felicidad".

XEMIA became "La Consentida" in 1989.
