World tour on Royal Enfield motorcycle 1971. On 29 January 1971, four young men set out on a tour of the world on two Royal Enfield motorcycles from Jamshedpur, India. It took them 18 months and 108,000 Km to cover Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
The four men's names are S.C. Sharma, Sampuran Singh, Manmohan Singh, and Ashok Kher. Manmohan Singh and Ashok Kher died some time ago.
