Woodland School District 50 is in Lake County, Illinois. The school has approximately 800 students per grade and is the seventh largest school district in Illinois.

The student population is 7,000 students in the grades of Kindergarten through eighth grade. There are four schools: The primary school, the elementary school, the intermediate school, and the middle school. The students are divided into eight groups of 100 into halls, with the animals of tiger, leopard, panther, and cheetah. Both of these have an east and west side. The students in the same halls are near each other for eight years until high school. In each hall, there are four classes with a Special Ed room.
