Woodbranch is a city in Montgomery County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,282 at the 2010 census.

Geography
Woodbranch is located at 30°11′4″N 95°11′22″W (30.184410, -95.189544).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,305 people, 458 households, and 379 families residing in the city. The population density was 670.0 people per square mile (258.4/km²). There were 472 housing units at an average density of 242.3/sq mi (93.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.09% White, 0.23% African American, 0.31% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 2.45% from other races, and 0.84% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.91% of the population.
There were 458 households out of which 39.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.1% were married couples living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.2% were non-families. 15.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.85 and the average family size was 3.14.
In the city, the population was spread out with 28.3% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 25.8% from 45 to 64, and 11.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 96.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.4 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $51,932, and the median income for a family was $55,926. Males had a median income of $41,949 versus $26,827 for females. The per capita income for the city was $19,175. About 4.9% of families and 7.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 9.8% of those under age 18 and 6.0% of those age 65 or over.
Education
Woodbranch is served by New Caney Independent School District and Lone Star College (formerly the North Harris Montgomery Community College District).
Residents are zoned to Tavola Elementary School, Keefer Crossing Middle School, and New Caney High School.
Aikin Elementary School was the elementary school serving Woodbranch. Tavola Elementary, in the Tavola subdivision off of Roman Forest Boulevard, opened in 2015 to replace Aikin Elementary, which needed a lot of renovation to remain in operation.
Sixth graders previously attended the New Caney 6th Grade Campus.
