The 31st District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in central Wisconsin, and is currently composed of parts of Buffalo, Trempealeau, Pierce, Pepin, Dunn, Eau Claire, Clark, Monroe and Jackson counties.

Kathleen Vinehout is the senator serving the 31st district. She was elected in 2006, re-elected in 2010 and 2014; and is up for re-election in 2018.

The area of the 31st Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts:

  • The 91st (represented by Dana Wachs)
  • The 92nd (represented by Chris Danou)
  • The 93rd (represented by Warren Petryk)
  • The district is located mostly within Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Ron Kind.
