The 27th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in far southern Wisconsin, and is currently composed of parts of Dane, Green, Rock, and Lafayette counties. The district lies mostly east and south of Madison.

Jon Erpenbach is the senator serving the 27th district. He was first elected to the senate in 1998, and has been re-elected since.
