Current elected officials

Duey Stroebel was elected in a special election to the 20th Senate District on April 7, 2015. He had previously been a State Assemblyman from the 60th District from 2011-2015 until he gave it up in a losing effort in the Republican Primary for the 6th Congressional District in 2014, an election won by Stroebel's predecessor in the 20th Senate District, Glenn Grothman.

The area of the 20th Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts, all held by Republicans:

  • The 58th (represented by Bob Gannon)
  • The 59th (represented by Jesse Kremer)
  • the 60th (represented by Robert Brooks).
  • The district is also located partly within Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, which is represented by Jim Sensenbrenner, and partly within Wisconsin's 6th congressional district, which is represented by Grothman.
