Wind power in Wisconsin contributes to the state's renewable portfolio standard established in 1998. There are several wind turbine installations and wind farms in the state, which as of 2013 produced 648MW. Regulations regarding the siting of wind turbines substantially hinder the development of wind farms in the state.
A 98 MW wind farm, the Quilt Block Wind Farm, was under construction in southwest Wisconsin as of February 2017.
