Location

Bridge St., Willimantic, Connecticut

Architectural style

Second Empire architecture

The Willimantic Freight House and Office is a historic railroad freight facility on Bridge Street in Willimantic section of Windham, Connecticut. It includes two buildings: a 2-1/2 story brick office building, with Second Empire styling, and a large wood frame building with a gable roof and seven large sliding doors, which served as the storage facility. The buildings are a reminder of Willimantic's importance as one of eastern Connecticut's busiest railroad yards at the height of the railroad industry.

The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
