William Warden

William Warden (1777–1849) was a Royal navy surgeon. He trained at Montrose and Edinburgh and was a surgeon in the Royal Navy from 1795 until 1849. He obtained an M.D. at St. Andrews University in 1811 and another M.D. Edinburgh University in 1824. He was in attendance on Napoleon during his voyage and in St. Helena in 1815. Warden was censured for publishing in 1816, garbled notes of his conversations with Napoleon.
