Jones has written articles, role-playing game supplements, and RPG design for Chaosium and other publishers. His fiction spans genres, covering mystery, horror, science fiction, dark fiction, historical, and young adult. Jones has edited several fiction anthologies and magazines, and is the editor of Dark Wisdom magazine. Jones also teaches English at a university in Michigan.
