William Jaffray (March 6, 1832 – September 29, 1896) was an English-born publisher and politician in Ontario, Canada. He served as mayor of Berlin from 1882 to 1883.

The son of Peter Jaffray, a native of Scotland, and Mary Ann Gittins, he was born in Shrewsbury. In 1851, his father established the Galt Reporter in 1847; Jaffray joined him as a partner in 1851. He became editor of the Galt Reporter and Berlin Chronicle in 1856. In 1862, Jarray became Berlin's postmaster and, in 1864, became express and telegraph agent.

He married Agnes Jackson in 1854.

His brother Richard served as mayor of Galt.
