Wilfredo Ruiz Bruno (born June 1, 1962) is a retired Uruguayan professional basketball player. In the FIBA World Championship of 1982, playing for Uruguay national basketball team, he averaged 23.4 points per game.

At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 1984, Ruiz was one of the leaders along with Carlos Peinado and Horacio “Tato” Lopez and finished with his team in sixth place. Nicknamed Fefo He also played for Estudiantes de Bahia Blanca in the Liga Nacional de Basquetbol where he was the league's best scorer during its first three years of existence (1985–87).
