"Wild Wild West" is the title a hip hop song written and recorded in 1987 by Kool Moe Dee and released as a single in 1988.

Kool Moe Dee's 1988 release deals with the differences in gangs dealing with violence. Released on the Jive label, it was a R&B hit, reaching number four on Billboard's R&B chart. However, it only reached number sixty-two on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video features Kool Moe Dee in a western style town with snow on the ground, with back up dancers. The video was recorded at Wild West City, in Stanhope, NJ. The song was also featured in an episode of MTV's Rob and Big when Rob and Big added a mini horse to their family. It is also one of the videos appearing on MTV's Beavis & Butthead. It was later sampled by Will Smith in his 1999 song of the same name, featuring Kool Moe Dee (along with Dru Hill).
