Wil Klass Opinions on Wil Klass

Wil Klass (born Wilert P Klass) is a US-born writer, photographer and traveler. He has authored all or part of several travel guidebooks, including the 1990s backpacker classic Asia Overland, co-authored with Mark Elliott. His other travel content work includes writing for U.S. News & World Report, the initial build out of the Travel Channel website for the Discovery Channel, the brand creation of the Night + Day guidebook series and the launch of the Spot Cool Stuff online guide.

His travel adventures have gained Klass an audience with the Presidents of Belize, Ingushetia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as with the 14th Dalai Lama. He returned from a trek to Mount Everest on the back of a yak.

Klass attended the Travel Blogger Show in Las Vegas on September 11, 2011.
