The Whitley Bay International Jazz Festival is an annual music festival in the northeast English county of Tyne and Wear, founded in 1990. Stylistic limits range from Ragtime to Swing.
The Festival now presents 25 or more bands each year, with approximately one-third coming from outside the UK. Emphasis is on showcasing young musicians. Previously held at the Menzies Silverlink Park Hotel, the event transferred to The Village Hotel from 2008.
