"When I Hear Music" is a song by co-written by American songwriter/producer Tony Butler and dance-pop singer Deborah Kowalski and recorded by Kowalski under the name Debbie Deb. Released as her debut single on March 13, 1983, the song did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100, but was a hit in dance clubs and had major airplay. The song once appeared in a 2007 episode of Bones. The song still receives airplay on major radio stations in the United States.

Reggaetón artist Voltio includes a sample of the song in his 2008 song, Pónmela. A lengthy cut of the song can be heard in the Pónmela music video during the song's break.
