Westport, sometimes called Westport St. Mary, was a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, immediately west of the town of Malmesbury. The philosopher Thomas Hobbes was born in Westport in 1588; his father, also Thomas Hobbes, lived at Westport while serving as curate of Brokenborough.
Westport no longer exists as a separate village and is not named on modern maps. The built-up area was incorporated in the borough of Malmesbury in 1934; the rural parts of the parish were incorporated in 1896 into the parish of St Paul Malmesbury Without.
