West Crossett is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ashley County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,256 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.9 square miles (31 km2), of which, 11.9 square miles (31 km2) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) of it (.08%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,664 people, 661 households, and 485 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 102.5 people per square mile (39.6/km²). There were 774 housing units at an average density of 47.7/sq mi (18.4/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 60.88% White, 36.72% Black or African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.06% Asian, 1.74% from other races, and 0.54% from two or more races. 3.06% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 661 households out of which 33.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.0% were married couples living together, 12.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.5% were non-families. 22.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.52 and the average family size was 2.95.
In the CDP, the population was spread out with 25.7% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 26.6% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 96.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.1 males.
