Wendover, also known as Frontier Nursing Service or Big House, near Hyden, Kentucky, is notable for its association with an American attempt to professionalize midwifery, led by Mary Breckinridge. It was headquarters of the Frontier Nursing Service, an organization which continues today. Wendover has been named a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

Wendover is a two-and-a-half-story log building on a south-facing hillside, overlooking the Middle Fork of the Kentucky River, on a small road off of County Highway 421, about four miles north of the small town of Hyden, Kentucky.
