Webit Global Series of events were created in 2008 by Plamen Russev, Bulgarian entrepreneur, philanthropist and Chairman of Webit Foundation.

Webit is a global series of events gathering from 1 000 to 10 000 attendees from over 110 countries at different location in the world like Sofia, Istanbul, Dubai, Singapore and New Delhi. Webit enables business opportunities at global scale and ignites further the growth of the local ecosystems, inspires and empowers them and creates a platform for dialogue between policy makers, enterprise and entrepreneurs.

The events within the Webit Global Series entail a number of parallel events and summits targeting start-ups, the companies and the policymakers. Therea are different parallel summits of the festival, which discuss a number of domains including IoT, Smart Cities, eGovernance, Cyber Security, Fintech, Cloud and Big Data, Media, Digital Marketing & Advertising, Digital Entertainment and brands' strategies in the new complex digital world.
