Webel Informatics Limited (WIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL), the government agency responsible for technology development in West Bengal. WIL's mission is to upgrade the level of computer literacy in West Bengal, and it produces around 6,000 professionals every year. With more than 140+ franchise locations all over the state, including Bhairab Ganguly College, the company also conducts corporate training in 100 government-aided schools.

WIL's Information Technology Education and Training divisions conduct Diploma and Certificate courses in Software, Hardware with Networking and Multimedia, and a host of IT courses for beginners, with special emphasis on training college students to help make them industry-ready professionals after their graduation.

WIL is the Regional CISCO Network Academy for Eastern India and awards CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA). It is also the Authorized Training Partner of Red Hat, conducting Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) for individuals and corporate clients. Being CISCO Networking Academy, students get huge benefits from CISCO as well as from 'WIL'. The total CCNA course is divided into 4 semester (as per CISCO guidelines) - 1-1.5 months is appx duration for every semester. Few of the benefits are:

Every student have valid CISCO student account from starting day of class,

Each topics are trained with proper hardware equipments includes Router and Network Switches,

Every network topologies are configured on physical hardware Router & Switches.

Each semester contains several online examinations conducted by CISCO - 'free of cost'.

After course completion every student are awarded by CISCO certificate of course completion,

If one candidate gets better marks on semester end examinations then (s)he will get special CISCO congratulation letter.

After completion of all four examination students get huge discount (now 58%) on Global CCNA examination fees.

Network trouble-shooting is another special topics - trained with full practical details and internals of every troubles.

WIL is counted among the early adopters of 'RedHat Enterprise Linux ver. 7' of Eastern India. Due to having proper lab hardware environment on August '14, WIL was selected by 'RedHat' to conduct Eastern India's first Instructor Training Program on RedHat Enterprise Linux ver.7. RedHat selected topmost instructor's from different centers of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand were the participants including WIL.

As per modern technology trends, WIL has started providing training on 'Storage & Cloud Administration' first in Eastern India with huge hardware lab setup in their dedicated storage & cloud classroom. WIL trains students from different countries, and also after getting high-end proper training students are now successfully working on different states and countries.
