The 2003 FINA Women's World Water Polo Championship was the sixth edition of the event, organised by the world's governing body in aquatics, the FINA. The tournament was held from July 13 to July 25, and incorporated in the 2003 World Aquatics Championships, held in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Hungary, United States, Canada, Russia and Italy qualified by finishing in the top-five at the 2002 FINA World Cup in Perth, Australia.
