There are three major families of the Wardak at District of Pakistan Battagram. The head family of this tribe is living since long at Trand and other two families are living in "Maidan" and "Tamaie". This tribe was migrated from pakistan thal city near Hangu when English were ruling the India before the Partition of India. As Wardak are very famous for their bravery so this tribe was fighting with the Sikh and Hindus at Battagram. The grandfather of these three major families was allowed to walk on a horse in the area as a tradition of a hero man. They fought many on foot wars at the district very bravely with the locals of the area. Later on when their grandfather killed a well known man of the area. They were compelled to leave the place. At night they killed some of the servants of the Khan of Battagram and their animals as well and started moving towards the Trand. The head family of Bahadar remain there while the other two families were transferred to "Maidan" and "Tamaie".
