Ward No. 5, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 1, covering parts of Tallah, Belgachia and Chitpur neighbourhoods in north Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Kashipur-Belgachhia (Vidhan Sabha constituency).

Overview
The boundaries of the ward are as follows: Paikpara Raja Manindra Road and Jiban Krishna Ghosh Road are to the north. Anath Nath Deb Lane, Indra Biswas Road and the Eastern Railway line are to the east. Khudi Ram Bose Sarani, the New Canal and the Circular Canal are to the south. Barrackpore Trunk Road is to the west.

As per 2011 Census of India Ward No. 5, Kolkata Municipal Corporation had a total population of 23,707, of which 12,243 (52%) were males and 11,464 (48%) were females. Population below 6 years was 1,485. The total number of literates in Ward No. 5 was 19,980 (90.32 % of the population over 6 years).
