Ward No. 46, Kolkata Municipal Corporation is an administrative division of Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Borough No. 6, covering parts of Chowringhee, Esplanade East and Dharmatala neighbourhoods in central Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It forms a city municipal corporation council electoral constituency and is a part of Chowranghee (Vidhan Sabha constituency).
Overview
The boundaries of the ward are: Lawrence Road, Lal Bazar Street, Bipin Behari Ganguly Street, Lenin Sarani and Ganesh Chandra Avenue are in the north. Stand Road, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Mirza Ghalib Street, Rani Rashmoni Road, Chandni Chowk Street, Kairu Place and Bow Street are to the east. Lal Bazar Street, Lawrence Road, Nellie Sengupta Sarani and Outram Road.are to the south. Indira Gandhi Sarani, Marx-Ageles Bithi, Hemanta Basu Sarani and BBD Bagh East are to the west.
