Wangkatjunga (or Wangkajunga) is a dialect of the Western Desert dialect group in Western Australia. It is spoken in the vicinity of Christmas Creek and Fitzroy Crossing. The use of the name 'Wangkatjunga' to identify this language group only appears to have emerged in the 1970s.
