Wang Yuan (Chinese: 王源; born November 8, 2000), also known by his stage name Roy Wang, is a Chinese singer and actor. He is the main vocalist for TFBOYS, a Chinese boy band formed by TF Entertainment. His nickname is "Little Tangyuan" (Chinese: 小汤圆; pinyin: Xiao Tangyuan).
Life and career
2000–2010
In the end of 2011, at the age of 11, Roy Wang was accepted into TF Family.
August 6, 2013 Wang Junkai (王俊凯/Karry), Wang Yuan (王源/Roy) and Yi Yangqianxi (易烊千玺/Jackson) officially debuted as the boy group, "TFBOYS".
August, 2013 - Released official teaser of TFBOYS, "Ten Years".
October 18, 2013 – Released their first EP album, "Heart".
March 13, 2014 Released the single, "Magic Castle".
April 15, 2014 Attended the 2nd Yinyuetai Vchart Awards and won the award "Favorite Artist (Mainland)" and "Most Popular Artist (Live)".
May 20, 2014 Participated in the Chinese TV Show "Happy Camp".
July, 2014 Became the promotional ambassador for the show "Power of Chinese Kids", which is produced by CCTV, the state television broadcaster in China.
August, 2014 TFBOYS visited Taiwan. Their visit was made into a TV Show. It was produced by IQIY and was named "Ouxiangshouji" (偶像手記)
August, 2014 TFBOYS participated in the Chinese TV Show "The Generation Show".
August, 2014 Participated in CCTV's show "The First Lesson of the School Year".
October 27, 2014 Released the second EP album "Manual of Youth". Besides the hit song, the album also contained three other songs, "Lucky Symbol", "Happy Island Tour", "In The Name of Faith".
March 20, 2015 Released new song "Adore", Which will be included in the next album.
March & April, 2015, Participated in several Mainland China award ceremonies including 2015 Scream IQIY Night, 2015 QQ Music Awards, 2015 YinYueTai V Chart Awards, 2015 Eastern Music Awards, and 2015 Top Chinese Music Awards and received several awards for their accomplishments in 2014.
April 4, 2015 Participated in Chinese TV Show "Happy Camp" for the second time.
April 10, 2015 Released new song "Young".
August 17, 2015 Released new song "Big Dreamer".
August 28, 2015 Released new song "The rest the summer"Rap Feat.CUG", which will be included in the next album.
September 16, 2015 Released new song "Love With You".
In the Film of L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties THE FIRST FILM SHOW AS AN PRIEST On April 29, L.O.R.D: Legend of Ravaging Dynasties which is directed by Guo Jingming, including Roy Wang. Principal photography was carried on 2015, in Nanjing, China.
