Walther-Hans Bottcher (4 November 1916 – 6 June 1943) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Walther-Hans Bottcher was killed on 6 June 1943 after stepping on a mine near Arkhangelsk, Russia.
