Wallace E.J. Collins III, Esq. is an entertainment lawyer who has handled both transactional and litigation matters in the film, television, music and internet fields.

Before attending Fordham Law School, (Graduate: Fordham Law School 1987), Wallace was a teenage recording artist for Epic Records where Jimmy Ienner was his executive producer.

In the music field he has represented artists, managers, record producers and the musical directors for Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Madonna. Wallace has won several high-profile entertainment business litigations, including a copyright infringement case with the largest monetary judgment ever awarded for the use of a single "sample" in the song "Whoomp! There It Is."

Wallace has authored for legal and trade publications and is a regular contributor to Billboard, Entertainment Law and Finance and The New York Law Journal. He also handles many cases of interest to the media and has been mentioned in the NY POST, New York Magazine for "The Judy Garland Case", The New York Times, Daily News, Billboard, New York Post, Pollstar, DMA, and others.

He is a member of The Recording Academy (the "Grammy Awards”), on the board of trustees of the Songwriters' Guild of America and a member of The Copyright Society of the U.S.A. He is a frequent speaker on panels, at lectures and at seminars throughout the country,and internationally, on current entertainment business issues. He has been chosen several times by his peers as an entertainment and sports law “Super Lawyer” in 2014 and 2015.

Collins' father (Wallace Collins II) was long-time general counsel for North American Philips; and his grandfather (Wallace Collins I) was U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York during prohibition.
