Wahocha is old baloch or jatt tribe descendant of Arabic Muslims which came in India (Now Pakistan) with Muhammad Bin Qasim in 712 A.D. There history is not clear that either they are baloch or jatt tribe. Sheikh mahmmood wahocha was father of this caste. he is buried in paharpur distt layyah, Punjab, Pakistan. They live in various parts of Pakistan - Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan,Ghazi Ghat, Jampur, Lodhran, Larkana in Sindh, Kasur districts, Ahmadpur Sial, some parts of Musa khel and border near south Waziristan, Rakni in Balochistan. Their chiefs are known with various terms like Sardars, Maliks and Shaikhs according to regional customs in country. Their language is Saraiki in South Punjab, Punjabi in Upper Punjab and Balochi in Balochistan and Sindhi in Sindh province.
