Wahi, also spelled Wahie, is a Khatri clan that belongs to Punjab. The clan is a part of the Bara-Ghar (12 House) section of Khatris. Many Hindu and Sikh members of this clan settled in West Punjab which is now part of Pakistan, and had to move to India at the time of the 1947 partition. Originally, the clan originates from the Doaba region of Punjab.
Wahi are predominantly Hindu and Sikh.
