WSHC is a Contemporary hit radio (alternative, pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B) formatted Non-commercial educational radio station licensed to Shepherdstown, West Virginia, serving the Shepherdstown/Sharpsburg area. WSHC is owned and operated by Shepherd College Board of Governors.
History
WSHC prides itself on being a student-run facility. It is located in the basement of Knutti Hall, on Shepherd University's campus. WSHC also boasts special programming, including Eclectic Weekends (jazz, blues, classics). Over its 30+ year history, the station has prided itself on breaking new bands and supporting a healthy, local music scene.
