WMYL (96.7 FM, "Merle 96.7") is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Halls Crossroads, Tennessee, USA, the station serves the Knoxville area. The station is currently owned by M & M Broadcasting.
In 2006, Ron Meredith and M&M Broadcasting purchased WXJB, WFXY and WANO in Middlesboro, KY, Harrogate, TN and Pineville, KY, immediately spun off WFXY and WANO and changed the call letters to WMYL branded the station as Merle FM and moved it to Halls Cross Roads, an unincorporated area of north east Knox County, which it is licensed.
Since moving on to Halls Cross Roads, Merle FM has offered a mix of New and Old Country.
