WMIA (1070 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve Arecibo, Puerto Rico. WMIA is the official station of the Camarero Radio Network. The station is owned by Abacoa Radio Corporation. It airs a News/Talk format and features programming from Red Informativa de Puerto Rico.

The station was assigned the WMIA call letters by the Federal Communications Commission.

Ownership

WMIA is owned and operated by Abacoa Radio Corporation, a Puerto Rican company founded by the Pirallo-Lopez family, since the late 1950s.

On March 2, 2017, Wifredo G. Blanco Pi reached an agreement to purchase WMIA from Abacoa Radio Corp. WMIA continued their regular programming until the transaction closes.

This could become the fifth station of the WAPA Radio News Network.

The WAPA Radio Network will consist of five radio stations across the island, WAPA 680 in San Juan, WMIA 1070 in Arecibo (if approved), WISO 1260 in Ponce, WGYA 1590 in Guayama and WVOZ 1580 in Morovis.
