Programming

The radio station features locally originated shows the Bill and Joel Morning Show, Morning Talky, and The Ken Coleman Show and Sportstalk with Katie B. Davis as part of its weekday programming line up. Nationally syndicated hosts include Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Dave Ramsey, Mike Gallagher and Jim Bohannon.

WDUN's sports programming includes Georgia Southern Eagles football, Atlanta Falcons football, Atlanta Hawks basketball, and local prep play-by-play coverage covering a ten-county area. In 2009, WDUN became the radio home of the Gwinnett Braves, the AAA minor league affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. As a result, the major league Atlanta Braves games, formerly aired on WDUN, moved to sister station 1240 ESPN Radio. WDUN is also the radio home of the Gwinnett Gladiators, the ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes with limited games on air and all games streamed at WDUN.Com.

On October 4, 2010, WDUN began simulcasting on WDUN-FM, including WDUN news updates every thirty minutes. WDUN-FM airs Dave Ramsey from noon until three while WDUN-AM airs Rush Limbaugh due to "city of license" contract stipulations.

History

As part of the station's history, "WDUN 550" and sports formatted 1240 ESPN Radio (WGGA) swapped dial positions in the 1983.
