WCNY TV (commercial TV station)

WCNY-TV was a commercial TV station licensed to the Carthage/Watertown, New York market that operated in the 1950s and 1960s and was owned by the newspaper Watertown Daily Times. The station was granted a Special Temporary Authority (STA) to begin broadcasting on October 14, 1954. In 1965, it changed call letters to WWNY-TV to match its co-owned radio stations.
