W. Ellis (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Ellis' batting style is unknown.
Ellis made a single appearance in first-class cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) against Cambridge University in 1835 at Lord's. In a match which the MCC won by an innings and 25 runs, Ellis batted once, scoring 17 runs before being dismissed caught.
