Vysokogorsky District (Russian: Высокого́рский райо́н; Tatar: Биектау районы, Biektaw rayonı) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the republic. The area of the district is 1,701.2 square kilometers (656.8 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of zheleznodorozhnoy stantsii Vysokaya Gora. Population: 43,207 (2010 Census); 46,323 (2002 Census); 52,109 (1989 Census). The population of the administrative center accounts for 6.9% of the district's total population.
