VouchedFor.co.uk is a company that was founded in 2012 to help people find reliable Independent Financial Advisers. Its IFA directory facility was the first in the UK to only feature fee-based IFAs, as well as allow users to leave reviews and ratings about IFAs.
VouchedFor.co.uk was founded in anticipation of a new regulation termed the Retail Distribution Review. This will outlaw the payment of sales commissions from investment providers to IFAs, and instead require that all financial advisers operate on a fee basis.
Since launching, VouchedFor.co.uk has worked to raise consumer awareness of the Retail Distribution Review and its implications for consumers.
